Dickinson Animal Hospital & Pet Wellness Center

It was our first visit at Dickinson Animal Hospital & Wellness center and it was a great experience since the beginning. Making an appointment was very easy and they were able to fit us into their schedule in a timely manner. We were greeted with friendly smiles from the staff up front. When we were taken back Michelle was awesome! She treated Rusty with such kindness and patience as he wasn’t feeling his best. Dr.Randall was great shes very knowledgeable and explains her plan of treatment in depth and in a way you can understand what is going on. She’s very clear on what she is doing and what her plan is which is very appreciated. Michelle is also very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all our concerns and questions. Overall, very happy with their services and customer service! Definitely making them our choice of care for Rusty.

Dr. Randall and her vet tech was amazing (I'm so sorry, I forgot his name)! Actually the whole experience was amazing. My dog has been aggressive in the past so as soon as I got there, I called to ask if they could call me when the room was ready so we didn't have to wait in the lobby which they did. Dr. Randall was so thorough and spent the multiple hours it needed to treat my boy. She was so thorough and patient as he wasn't always so cooperative. It's no easy feat to go to the vet and she made my big boy & myself comfortable the whole time. She followed up the next day to see how he was doing. She's amazing! And the whole clinic was so helpful

I have a parakeet/budgie so I’m already a unique situation when it comes to finding a vet. Dickinson Animal Hospital called in their bird specialist to see my budgie Kiwi who was injured and I feared would die… everyone was so kind. I called, packed up my baby, and was seen and back home within 3hrs. The vet was thorough, explained her entire evaluation, and didn’t push for unnecessary tests or procedures. She was also patient with my nonstop comments and questions because I was so worried about my bird. What a kind staff! I have high hopes my bird will be okay, only time will tell but atleast she’s comfortable, and so far this has been my best vet experience for a bird to date.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Brought my cat for a simple peeing behavior and came out with a bill of $664 and what I originally came in for was not treated at all. Before the visit my cat was her normal self eating and playing except for the peeing behavior. During our visit she was treated for digestive issues (which were not my concern at the time) and the peeing issue was not treated at all. At night my cat started feeling sick and would not eat or play anymore. She started spotting which made me assume they hurt her when they were obtaining a pee sample during her visit. I wouldn’t know cause they took her to the back to do that. I am very disappointed with this place for hurting my cat. For $664 I would have expected for my cat’s issue to be resolved. We are new to the area and did not expect this at all. When I called the vet to let her know my cat was doing worse she wanted me to bring her in for X-rays (more money) I said I couldn’t so instead she prescribed something else adding another $38 to my tab so now I have a really sick cat who was not that sick when I came in and now I need to spend more money in finding out what’s wrong with her at another vet. Also, the vet pointed out that my cat had gained 1.5 pounds of weight which she made it sound it wasn’t ok. Then she questioned me as to why we had skipped a year of vaccinations (we had financial hardship so couldn’t afford her vaccines at the time) that was very uncomfortable for me to be put on the spot like that. This place is in for your money they will run all kinds of test and not give you a straight answer as to what’s wrong with your pet. I wonder how they still open. I was surprised when I saw the waiting area empty that should have been a major red flag. Dr. Scott needs a sensitiveness training.
